We are really excited to be running a full summer programme of activities. We have just received some funding to run lots of completely free activity days for many children including young carers, children who receive free school meals, children with additional needs and those who have been hardest hit by the past 18 months.
We would love to recruit some adult (18+) volunteers to help deliver this programme so we can help as many children as we can. We are looking for adults who enjoy working with children and could commit to a week in the summer holidays (M-F) from 09:00-15:30. You will work alongside one of our experienced instructors at all times who will lead every session. Your role will involve supporting the instructor as an additional responsible adult whilst the children take part in many outdoor exploration and adventure activities.
We are looking for help on the following weeks:
You will receive full training beforehand and a free lunch each day in our canteen. If you enjoy the week and would like to volunteer on a longer term basis with the Sayers Croft Trust, there is potential to receive additional qualifications including first aid, rock climbing, lowland leader and more.
We are hosting some volunteer information sessions on the following dates:
Sunday 27th June – 10:00
Sunday 4th July – 15:00
This will involve a quick walk around site and a chat about what volunteering here will entail. Additional times can be arranged on request (e.g. midweek or evenings).
To book a slot on one of these sessions, or for more information please contact us on email@example.com or call 01483275541.

We have just opened our nature reserve up to the public for all of the local community to enjoy. We would love to update our map, and install some signposts to guide people round the woodpecker walk. All donations will go towards the design, materials and installations for the signs.Donate
