Now Open To The Public

Our beautiful nature reserve is always open for the local community to enjoy.

A 1.25km figure of 8 loop takes you through ancient oak woodland, past Coneyhurst Gill, and a stretch even follows an old Roman Road.

We ask that visitors please keep to the paths, keep dogs under control and leave nothing but footprints. The area is for us all to enjoy!

To find the nature reserve, follow Wykehurst Lane West from the Bulls Head. After about 500m, take the left onto the public footpath, and you will see information board and map showing the start of the trail. Please note, there is no car parking available on site. The closest parking spaces are in Ewhurst.

Listen to the sounds of the Nature Reserve!  Woodpeckers, thrushes, geese, a quietly babbling brook and more. No planes, no cars, just nature.
